Our Rabbi
Rabbi Moshe Schreck joined our congregation in Elul 5778. Rabbi Schreck currently also serves as Rabbinical Coordinator for Kosher Miami.
Originally from Riverdale New York, Rabbi Schreck, served as Rosh HaKollel of the Kehillas Shaarei Tefillah Beis Medrash in Melbourne, Australia, where he oversaw all sidrei halimud and presented daily and weekly shiurim on Gemara, halacha, and Jewish philosophy. Additionally, he served as Senior Rabbinic Coordinator of food services for Kosher Australia and as a high school rebbe at the local mesivta, Yeshivas Yesodei HaTorah.
Before moving to Melbourne, Rabbi Schreck spent eight years in Eretz Yisroel, where he learned at Yeshivas Kodshim under the tutelage of Rav Tzvi Kaplan, learned at the Mir Yeshiva, and received semicha from Kollel Da’ath Moshe. He then joined the Melbourne Lakewood Kollel, where he continued his studies for five years and served as Rosh Chabura of the Yoreh De’ah chabura, and he received semicha from Dayan Chaim Heimlich. Rabbi Schreck also holds a B.A. in Economics from Yeshiva University.
